Wakefield Academy’s Extended Day Programs provide activities and experiences to help promote children’s physical, intellectual, emotional and social growth.
This fast-paced basketball program will feature individual or team skill competitions, mini-games, and a set of tournament games each week. Points will be accumulated throughout the program and tabulated the final week to crown three champions. Sports cards will be given out each week to participants, but three additional small prizes will be given out to the students who receive the most points in the program. Points are not only awarded for skill. We also pay very close attention to sportsmanship, teamwork, behavior, and coachability when awarding points.
