Are you ready to embark on an exciting chess journey? Whether you’re a pawn-pusher novice or a budding knight, this Chess club is all about learning and reinforcing the fundamental principles of the game. ?♟️

Learn and reinforce basic principles - whether you’re new to chess or need a refresher, we’ll cover piece movement, starting positions, turn sequences, piece values, special rules, general board competencies, checks/checkmates and strategic concepts. We'll do lots of problem-solving work, so be prepared to exercise your brain. Students will be able to play with each other as well as their instructor to practice their skills and learn.
