  Make Your Own Games using Godot :

Bring your vision to life! In this hands-on game development class, students will learn to create their own 2D and 3D games using Godot, a powerful and open-source game engine. Designed for aspiring young developers, this course introduces game design fundamentals and basic programming concepts in a fun and accessible way. Students will explore how to build worlds, design characters, and bring their ideas to life through interactive gameplay.

Key Learning Objectives:

  • Godot Basics: Learn to navigate Godot’s interface and tools for creating 2D and 3D games.
  • Intro to GDScript: Understand the basics of GDScript, Godot’s easy-to-learn programming language.
  • Game Design Fundamentals: Explore key concepts like level design, character movement, and game mechanics.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Develop logical thinking skills by coding, debugging, and refining game projects.
  • Build Your Own Game: By the end of the session, students will create a functional game they can play and enjoy with their friends!
