KidzGroove is the perfect Intro to Dance for PreK children. This Creative Movement class is an age-appropriate introduction to dance vocabulary and technique, musicality, and body awareness. Using a variety of music, props, books, imagery, expressive dancing, guided exercises, visuals, and dance games, we provide just the right balance of structure and free dance so students can use their creativity as they grow as dancers and develop a love of movement! Kids get to express themselves through dance! Classes Include: the following exercises and themes: dancing dinosaurs, astronauts, toy store toys, animals, superheroes, zoo parades, and outer space obstacle courses! This lays a pre-ballet foundation, preparing children with the building blocks they need for more formal dance training, inspiring them to move creatively and instilling a love of dance! Props Include: Dancing Scarves, Hula Hoops, Instruments, Dance Ribbons, and Bubbles, all may make an appearance during our classes, keeping children engaged as they get their wiggles and energy out and discover how much FUN movement can be!
